When I say we feel like we hit the lottery with this buck, I am not exaggerating. After talking with Holly at 2024 Nationals and realizing a lot of her goals and values with breeding align with ours, we knew we had to bring in a buck from her. Holly worked with us to figure out what mattered most to improving our herd, and with that and a little luck - we were able to purchase Kon.

Kon's dam, Kennedy, impresses us more and more as she ages. She has won her age class at Nationals as a dry yearling, won NAILE in 2024, tied for the High 305 Production award at 2025 Nationals, appraised EX92 and she's only 5 years old!

 

His genetics from his sire's side are just as impressive. *B Wingwood Farm CM Aldean is the son of SG Wingwood Farm TL Aviva *Elite* EX91 and, of course, the well-known ++*B SGCH My-Enchanted-Acres LM Candyman *Elite*. Aviva is a four time ADGA Top 10 Breed Leader and still appears on the Elite list at 96 percentile! Aldean's daughter currently in the Hoanbu herd - CH Hoanbu WWFA Everdeen Prim 7*M EX90, was the 1st place Junior Kid at 2022 Nationals and finished her championship as a 2 year old first freshener! Not bad for a doe with several years still ahead of her!
