June represents a multitude of firsts for us. June was our first Brushwood Creek doeling, and we couldn't be more proud of her. We see many improvements in her over her dam, Willow. June has a more level topline, more dairy strength, and better feet and legs. She kidded in 2023 with triplets - our first ever - and started the season strong milking a gallon a day and peaked at 12lbs! She easily earned her milk star last year and was the first doe in our herd to do so. Following that, we almost lost June to a freak accident where she paralyzed the muscles of her face. For 3 months, she required intensive care and we were worried she'd never pull through. She beat the odds, though, and is doing amazing now! In 2024, as a 4th freshening 5 year old, June won Grand Champion in all 3 rings of the MGA Show - securing her GCH status! As our herd matriarch and the largest doe in our herd, we love this powerhouse doe!
