In case you can't tell from her picture, this young doe is a spitfire. Gypsy has never been the friendliest of goats - in fact she downright hates being caught - but once you have her she is pretty easy to handle. Where she shines, though, is her kids and her mothering ability. We were so pleased with how Gypsy did this winter as a first freshener. Her kids were beautiful, and she did such an excellent job raising them. Even though she'll never be a doe we can show or appraise because of her skittish disposition, she's earned her place in the herd as a brood doe.
